PETER JONES

I've been teaching couples how to dance, sharing simple to more complex first dance steps and elements since 1997. Last year I passed 12,000 couples! I am honored to be a part of the most incredible day of your lives

I've taught all over the world: London, Dublin, Paris, Nice, DC and NYC. I came to NYC as an actor, worked A LOT, but life as an actor is that every job ends sooner rather than later and you're unemployed again!

The end of one show resulted in the choreographer asking if I wanted to work at his studio. I discovered I really loved working with people just starting out/beginners, and when I went out on my own decided I wanted to work with wedding couples.

BallroomWeddingDance is a boutique dance studio dedicated solely to helping you create your First Dance, with personal attention guiding you to a memorable, elegant/ sensual ROMANTIC dance, comfortably, at your own pace. Your First dance is such a special moment for you!

I've coached Tony award winner Patina Miller, worked with Kenneth Cole and his daughter, was invited to help Tracy Morgan with his first dance, even taught Lara and Eric Trump's theirs!

Learning how to dance together is a perfect metaphor for getting married! Its all about communication. Taking care of each other, making your partner look good makes YOU look good.
